Developed by Asobo Studio and Working Title, in collaboration with Embraer, the super-midsize business jet will become the third aircraft in Microsoft's Expert Series. It promises an exceptionally detailed simulation of the aircraft's avionics, flight controls and onboard systems.
A New Level of Business Jet Simulation
The Praetor 600 project was originally announced in March 2025, with further development details revealed during Microsoft's April and September 2026 developer presentations.
Working Title is placing particular emphasis on accurately reproducing the aircraft's complex systems rather than relying on simplified or scripted behaviour.
The electrical system will feature hundreds of individually simulated circuits and functional circuit breakers. Hydraulic systems will incorporate physics-based behaviour, while the engines will use detailed thermodynamic modelling.
The aircraft will also simulate independent flight management systems and realistic inertial-navigation behaviour.

Advanced Pro Line Fusion Avionics
One of the Praetor 600's most anticipated features is its recreation of the Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite.
Working Title has outlined an extensive range of functionality, including:
- Two independently simulated flight management systems.
- Advanced lateral and vertical navigation capabilities.
- An authentic head-up display experience.
- Electronic charts and advanced flight planning.
- More than 900 pages of electronic checklists.
- Advanced fly-by-wire flight-control simulation.
For business aviation enthusiasts, the level of systems integration could make the Praetor 600 one of the most technically ambitious executive aircraft available in MSFS 2024.

Beyond the Flight Deck
The attention to detail extends beyond the cockpit.
Asobo is responsible for the aircraft's 3D artwork, while Boris Audio Works and Microsoft have contributed to sound recording and design.
Pilots can expect interactive aircraft servicing panels, including hydraulic servicing and manual refuelling facilities.
The passenger cabin will also feature individually controllable lighting, interactive tray tables and other functional interior details.
An electronic flight bag will provide access to dedicated aircraft systems pages, allowing pilots to inspect and interact with individual components.
Release Date and Availability
Microsoft's September 2026 development update confirmed 24 November 2026 as the planned release date.
This remains a development target and could change before launch.
Final UK pricing and purchasing details have not yet been confirmed.

Why It Matters for BizJet Pilot
The Praetor 600 is a particularly exciting addition to the business aviation side of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
With its advanced avionics, sophisticated systems modelling and detailed executive cabin, the aircraft could offer a compelling experience for virtual corporate pilots seeking realistic long-distance operations.
It will also be interesting to see how Working Title's approach compares with other high-fidelity business jets already available for the simulator.
BizJet Pilot will continue following development as the planned November release approaches.
