FSReborn has announced that autothrottle is coming to its Embraer Phenom 300E in version 1.40, with the update scheduled to reach the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace on 27 October 2026.

In an announcement posted to the developer's official Discord, FSReborn's Raul confirmed that version 1.40 is scheduled for release on PC and Xbox between 20:00 and 21:00 UTC.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for the business jet add-on, following recent development updates detailing the implementation and real-world pilot testing of the new autothrottle functionality.
Autothrottle Arrives
The headline addition in version 1.40 is the new autothrottle system, which has been under development and testing over recent weeks.
FSReborn previously confirmed that a working implementation had been achieved, with further validation being undertaken before release.
The latest announcement moves the feature from development progress to a scheduled public update, representing a substantial addition to the Phenom 300E's flight deck capabilities.

Vertical Situation Display and Control Wheel Steering
Autothrottle is not the only major avionics enhancement included in version 1.40.
The update introduces a Vertical Situation Display (VSD) and implements Control Wheel Steering (CWS), based on the aircraft's Pilot's Operating Handbook and G3000 Phenom documentation.
The cockpit's yoke buttons have also been updated to support CWS, the chronometer and autopilot disconnect functions.
New input events accessible through the MSFS 2024 control interface will allow users to assign hardware controls for these functions, as well as cockpit and temperature knobs and the left and right Garmin Touchscreen Controller (GTC) units.
These additions should provide greater flexibility for pilots using dedicated flight simulation hardware.

Aircraft Performance and Systems Improvements
Beyond the avionics, FSReborn has rebuilt the aircraft's entire Level of Detail (LOD) system.
According to the developer, this work improves graphical quality, transitions between detail levels and overall performance.
The update also addresses several aircraft systems and usability issues, including:
- Corrections to ignition logic and associated circuits.
- A fix for overlapping text on the maintenance page.
- Improvements to the passenger cabin lighting wake-up trigger.
- Updates to passenger reporting functionality.
- Reduced stuttering and freezing associated with low battery conditions.
- Corrections to the EFB's Start Mission button interaction.
- An adjustment to the take-off headwind limit data to 30 knots.
The developer has also listed fixes for flickering overhead and cabin smoke-sign lighting on Xbox and PlayStation 5.
Updated Manual and Known CWS Limitations
FSReborn has already released an updated Phenom user manual covering the new hardware bindings, including the yoke controls, GTC and autothrottle.
The developer has also documented known limitations involving Control Wheel Steering behaviour in certain autopilot modes, including Roll (ROL) and Flight Level Change (FLC).
These limitations are acknowledged in the release announcement rather than presented as fully resolved.

Marketplace Release Schedule
Version 1.40 is scheduled to arrive through the Microsoft Flight Simulator Marketplace on 27 October 2026, between 20:00 and 21:00 UTC, for PC and Xbox.
PlayStation users are expected to receive version 1.30 first, with version 1.40 queued to follow.
As with any scheduled Marketplace release, actual availability remains subject to the update appearing on the relevant platform.
For Phenom 300E pilots, version 1.40 represents one of the aircraft's most significant avionics updates, introducing the long-awaited autothrottle alongside additional flight deck functionality and wider performance improvements.
